National Theatre has just announced its newest season line-up. Check out what's coming below!

On this day in 1971, the original production of the musical theatre classic, Follies, opened on Broadway. 

SandRico Productions will present a musical theatre work-in-development with a public reading of "From the Bodoni County Songbook Anthology:  A Musical Review (of sorts)" with original text and lyrics by Frank Gagliano and music by the late Claibe Richardson.  This free reading, featuring a cast of seven and directed by Melissa Martin, will be held on Monday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Carnegie Stage (off the WALL productions), 25 West Main Street, Carnegie, PA 15106.

Stephen Sondheim's Broadway smash 'Company' is alive and well at the BACCA Arts Center in Lindenhurst. Presented by StageLight Entertainment, this production of the 1970 musical is a smash hit! Performed with linear staging and in a very intimate setting, this smart production felt like it was being performed in the living room by your favorite and annoying circle of friends.

Classic Stage Company has announced complete casting for their upcoming production of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's Pacific Overtures, directed and designed by Tony Award winner John Doyle, beginning performances Thursday, April 6 at CSC (136 East 13th Street) for a limited engagement through Saturday, May 27.

Based on the original novel Madame Sousatzka written by Bernice Rubens, SOUSATZKA is set in London, England in 1982 and tells the story of a musical prodigy torn between two powerful women from vastly different worlds: his mother, a political refugee from South Africa and his piano teacher, a brilliant eccentric with a shattered past. These two proud, iconoclastic women must ultimately cross cultural and racial divides to find common ground, or else jeopardize the young musician's destiny.

A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder, now playing cities across the country on its First National Tour, comes to Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts this winter.

The world premiere of the Garth Drabinsky production of Sousatzka, the new musical by three-time Tony Award-nominated book writer Craig Lucas and the legendary composing team of Tony Award winner Richard Maltby, Jr. (Lyrics) and Academy Award winner David Shire (Music), is headed to Broadway in 2017. The show will star Tony Award winner Victoria Clark in the title role of Madame Sousatzka, a celebrated, eccentric, Polish-born piano teacher who was forced into exile. Today, Clark shared what drew her to the role in a post on the musical's Facebook page.
