Kate Fodor's 'Rx' Makes LA Premiere at the Lost Studio, Now thru 3/2

Rx, a new comedy by Kate Fodor, has been set for its Los Angeles premiere today, January 10 through March 2 at the Lost Studio on La Brea. Directed by John Pleshette, there will be one preview performance tonight, January 10 at 8pm and opening is set for Saturday, January 11 at 8pm. Rx will play a limited engagement through March 2 only.

Rx, a new comedy by Kate Fodor, has been set for its Los Angeles premiere January 10 through March 2 at the Lost Studio on La Brea. Directed by John Pleshette, there will be one preview performance on Friday, January 10 at 8pm and opening is set for Saturday, January 11 at 8pm. The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for The Last Goodbye, a new musical fusing Shakespeare'sRomeo and Juliet with the incendiary songs of the legendary singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley. Conceived and adapted by Michael Kimmel, the rock musical is directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers (Peter and the Starcatcher, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson). Choreography is by Emmy Award nominee Sonya Tayeh ('So You Think You Can Dance'), and orchestrations, music direction and arrangements are by Kris Kukul. The Last Goodbye will run on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, Sept. 20 - Nov. 3, 2013. Preview performances run Sept. 20 - Oct. 5. Opening night is Sunday, Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are currently available by subscription only. Single tickets go on sale Sunday, Aug. 18 at 12 noon. 3 To a Session - 3 One-Act Plays to Run at Harold Clurman Theatre Feb 1-5

The Immediate Theater Company will run three new one-acts at the Harold Clurman Theater in Theater Row, at 410 West 42nd St. Under the title 3 To a Session, the one-acts, Play>, See The World, and 3 To a Session: A Monster's Tale, will be performed from February 1st to February 5th.
