Keen Company has announced its 17th season lineup, including the New York return of Jonathan Larson's TICK, TICK... BOOM!

Supported by a grant from Queens Council on the Arts, Sara Cooper (The Memory Show, 2014 Jonathan Larson Grant winner), Amy Burgess (Show Me Real), and Julia Meinwald (Pregnancy Pact) will be presenting a concert of songs from their new musical ELEVATOR HEART.

Tony Award-winning Trinity Repertory Company kicks off their 2016-2017 season, Ghosts of the Past, Dreams of the Future with Beowulf: A Thousand Years of Baggage, directed by Curt Columbus. Beowulf: A Thousand Years of Baggage running September 8 - October 9, 2016 in Trinity Rep's Chace Theater.

The Public Theater will kick off the 2016-17 season in September with a free Public Works musical adaptation of TWELFTH NIGHT, conceived by Kwame Kwei-Armah and Shaina Taub, with music and lyrics by Shaina Taub. Directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah, TWELFTH NIGHT will once again feature over 200 actors and community members alongside five equity actors, including this year Nikki M. James as Viola and Jose Llana as Orsino.

AFTER HOURS THEATRE COMPANY, (who most recently produced Jonathan Larson's tick, ...tick...BOOM!), presents a modern day musical love story, I LOVE YOU BECAUSE, music by Joshua Salzman, book and lyrics by Ryan Cunningham, musical direction by Elmo Zapp, choreography by Aja Gomez and directed by Rebecca Kenigsberg.
