The Tony Awards have just announced that the 2014 Nominations will be announced on Tuesday, April 29 (8:30am) from the Paramount Hotel. This year's announcement will be co-hosted by multiple SAG and Emmy nominated actress and star of ELEMENTARY on CBS, Lucy Liu, and Tony-nominated star of HBO's LOOKING & Disney's FROZEN, Jonathan Groff. Also in attendance will be: William Ivey Long, Chairman of the American Theatre Wing; Heather Hitchens, Executive Director of the American Theatre Wing; Nick Scandalios, Chairman of The Broadway League; Charlotte St. Martin, Executive Director of the Broadway League.

INTAR presents Adoration of the Old Woman, by Jose Rivera and directed by Patricia McGregor, starring Raul Castillo, Danielle Davenport, Jose Joaquin Perez, Socorro Santiago and Carmen Zilles. Raul Castillo also stars in HBO's television series Looking, which is about a group of gay friends living in San Francisco. A limited number of $40 rush tickets for the much-anticipated ninth annual edition of Broadway Backwards will be released for sale at 6:30 PM Monday, March 24, 2014. The rush tickets will be sold outside the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street). They will not be available at the box office. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, cash only and are limited to two tickets per person. The show begins at 8 PM.

MCC THEATER has announced that the annual Miscast 2014 gala has added Billy Porter, Jeremy Jordan, Megan Hilty, and Raul Esparza as performers, joining the previously announced Zosia Mamet, Christian Borle, Anika Noni Rose, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Steven Pasquale, Jesse L. Martin, Sasha Allen, Keala Settle, and Nicole Parker. Phil Reno will serve as Musical Director. Additional performers will be announced at a later date. Miscast 2014 will be held Monday, March 31, 2014 at The Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street). The evening will begin with a cocktail hour and gala dinner followed by the Miscast performances. Gala and show-only tickets are now on sale at www.mcctheater.org.
