Tiffany Schleigh just presented CABARET FOR A CAUSE, a one-night-only event to benefit kef productions and their education program, Story Shifters, on Monday night, August 11. Created in 2010, CABARET FOR A CAUSE brings together young performers from Broadway, film, and television to make a difference and change the lives of young people in need. Attention Dance Moms and Broadway Kids Fans! Cabaret for a Cause will present a one-night-only concert Aug. 11 at Brooklyn's Galapagos Arts Space to benefit kef productions and their education program, Story Shifters.

Theatre for a New Audience's inaugural production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by multiple Tony Award-winner Julie Taymor with original music composed by Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning Elliot Goldenthal, opened on November 2 at the Theatre's newly-named building, Polonsky Shakespeare Center, 262 Ashland Place between Lafayette Avenue and Fulton Street, Brooklyn. This Sunday, April 7, 2013, Leorah Haberfield will be directing a cabaret featuring young talent from the Broadway community, with musical direction by Norma Jean Curley.

The Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS -328 West 48th Street) stages the Tony Award-winning musical “Cabaret,” featuring book by Christopher Isherwood, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Fred Ebb, until tomorrow, March 16 at 2 and 8 p.m. Kyle Pleasant (“Across the Universe,” “Cabaret”) directs and choreographs.

Rain on Saturday night (Feb. 23) did not dampen the spirits of more than 700 concertgoers to fill the historic performance venue The Town Hall in Times Square for the post-Valentine concert of 'Les Miserables' alums Adam Jacobs and Ali Ewoldt.

Due to the fact that the NYC Parks Department is closing all city parks on Sunday evening at 7:00pm and keeping them closed through Monday night which includes Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden, The Harbor Lights Theater Company's production of the King and I finally opens tonight, Saturday, November 3 at 8 pm rather than Friday, November 2.

Harbor Lights Theater Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Tamara Jenkins and Associate Artistic Director Jay Montgomery, completes the company's third season of professional Equity theater on Staten Island with Rodgers and Hammerstein's THE KING AND I, starring a cast of Broadway veterans and scores of local youth and children.
