JOHN OLIVER'S NY STAND-UP SHOW Among Comedy Central's July Highlights

This July, COMEDY CENTRAL is celebrating America the right way – by getting drunk! The series premiere of “Drunk History” debuts Tuesday, July 9 at 10:00 p.m. followed by the return of “The Jeselnik Offensive” when the second season premieres at 10:30 p.m.

Annual STORY PIRATES & FRIENDS Benefit Set for Peter Norton Symphony Space, 6/7

The Story Pirates (Benjamin Salka, CEO; Lee Overtree, Artistic Director), a national arts integration education organization, announces its annual Story Pirates & Friends Benefit on Friday, June 7th 2013 at Peter Norton Symphony Space (2537 Broadway). Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 8:00 pm.

Ka-Tet Theatre to Stage Chicago Premiere of SMUDGE, 5/25-6/23

Ka-Tet Theatre Company presents the Chicago premiere of SMUDGE by two-time Emmy Award-winning writer Rachel Axler, directed by Allison Shoemaker, playing May 25 - June 23, 2013 at the Athenaeum Theatre, 2936 N. Southport Ave. in Chicago. SMUDGE features Ka-Tet company members Stevie Chaddock Lambert and Scott Allen Luke with Andrew Marchetti.

Legendary actor Morgan Freeman stopped by THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART last night to promote his latest film NOW YOU SEE ME. But rather than solely speak about the film - Freeman decided to take on some scientific matters. HBO leads the networks in nominations with 21, followed closely by FX which collected 19. Topping the list of nominated series are American Horror Story: Asylum (FX) and The Big Bang Theory (CBS) with six nominations each. Other series with multiple nominations include Parks and Recreation (NBC) and Top Of The Lake (Sundance) with five each and The Americans (FX), Breaking Bad (AMC), Game of Thrones (HBO), The Good Wife (CBS), Louie (FX), New Girl (FOX) andPolitical Animals (USA) with four each.
