The 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were simulcast Live Nationally on TNT and TBS last night, Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT, and 6 p.m. MT from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. Stage and screen favorites such as Meryl Streep, Laura Linney and Alec Baldwin all took home awards for their fantastic work, BroadwayWorld had cameras everywhere from the Red Carpet to the Winners Stage in the Press Room to bring you all the starry action! Of the top industry accolades presented to performers, only the Screen Actors Guild Awards are selected solely by actors' peers. Two randomly selected panels-one for television and one for film-each comprised of 2,100 Guild members from across the United States, chose this year's Actor and stunt honors nominees. Integrity Voting Systems, the Awards' official teller mailed the nominations secret ballots were mailed on November 26. Voting was completed by noon Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008.

Actor nominees Amy Adams, Josh Brolin, Viola Davis, James Franco, Taraji P. Henson, Emile Hirsch, Frank Langella, Dev Patel, Freida Pinto and Michael Sheen will introduce their nominated cast film clips; Evan Rachel Wood will introduce a filmed salute to performances that were 'Trailblazers' either in their casting or subject matter; and Emily Blunt, Claire Danes, Ralph Fiennes, Katie Holmes, Kristin Scott Thomas and Marisa Tomei will present Actor? statuettes at the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards?, executive producer and director Jeff Margolis announced today. They join a growing roster of actors who will honor their colleagues at the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards that already includes Christina Applegate, Ernest Borgnine, Taye Diggs, Jon Hamm, Anthony Hopkins, John Krasinski, Eric McCormack, Amy Poehler, Susan Sarandon, Kyra Sedgwick, William Shatner and Forest Whitaker.

Christina Applegate, Angela Bassett, Jon Hamm, John Krasinski, Eric McCormack and Kyra Sedgwick will be presenters at the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards?, executive producer and director Jeff Margolis announced today. The 2009 SAG Awards? ceremony will be simulcast live nationally on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT and 6 p.m. MT from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. An encore presentation will air on TNT at 11 p.m. (ET/PT). For satellite and HD viewers, the live presentation can be seen on TBS and TNT at 8 p.m. (ET)/5 p.m. (PT), while the encore can be seen on TNT at 11 p.m. (ET)/8 p.m. (PT).

Due to the on-going Hollywood writers' strike, The 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards NBC telecast and champagne dinner in The Beverly Hilton's International Ballroom is officially cancelled. Instead, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association today announced that the recipients of Golden Globe Awards in 25 categories will be revealed during an hour-long HFPA press conference at The Beverly Hilton to be covered live by NBC News beginning at 6PM PST on Sunday, January 13.
