IMAX Corporation, Marvel Studios and The Walt Disney Studios today announced that the epic Super Hero adventure Marvel's The Avengers will be released in the immersive IMAX 3D format in 451 digital theatres worldwide. Domestically, the film will be released in 275 theaters beginning today, May 4.
