After breaking box office records and selling out in record time in 2010, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to the Academy of Music beginning today, June 26 - August 4 as part of the Broadway Season, presented by The KimMel Center for the Performing Arts.
Emmy Award-winner Carol Kane will return to the Broadway production of WICKED as Madame Morrible, starting performances on Monday, July 1, 2013. Ms. Kane has previously performed the role on Broadway, in Los Angeles, and on tour. Fresh off the national tour of WICKED, Michael Wartella will assume the role of Boq, beginning performances onTuesday, June 25.

The producers of the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Nice Work If You Can Get It have announced that the Broadway production will play its final performance today, June 15, 2013 after 27 previews and 478 regular performances at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). The production began performances on March 29, 2012 and opened on Apr 24, 2012. A national tour will be launched in the 2014-2015 season.

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to the Marcus Center with performances from June 12-July 7. Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Marcus Center box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person. Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form and, if chosen, when purchasing tickets.
