The National Theatre production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME is the Tony Award-winning new play by Simon Stephens, adapted from Mark Haddon's best-selling novel. Directed by Tony winner Marianne Elliott, the critically acclaimed production will come to Dr. Phillips Center as part of a North American Tour. The Orlando engagement will play the Walt Disney Theater November 1 - 6, 2016.
Honorees include a man who volunteers to transport disabled people in Nairobi and a 16-year-old who invented a new way to preserve water in drought-stricken South Africa.
A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to the Ohio Theatre with performances from August 17-September 4.
Beginning Monday, August 1, MICHAEL CAMPAYNO will assume the role of Fiyero in the Broadway company of WICKED. He will be making his Broadway debut with this production.

WICKED composer/lyricist Stephen Schwartz made his first appearance at San Diego Comic-Con this year, at CW3PR's 8th Annual Behind the Music Panel, where he announced the first details of the Universal Studios Wicked movie.

Producer Scott Rudin announced today that, on the heels of winning four Tony Awards including Best Play, The Humans will move into Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) to extend its limited run. The Humans will play its first performance in its new home on Tuesday, August 9. It will play its final performance at the Helen Hayes Theatre on Sunday, July 24, and then take a two-week hiatus to allow for the move. As previously announced, the Hayes is set to undergo significant renovations beginning in August.
