Melissa Manchester to Make Cafe Carlyle Debut, 6/10-21

GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester will make her Cafe Carlyle debut in a new show, You Gotta Love The Life, June 10 - June 21. Accompanying herself on piano, she will perform a selection of hits spanning her career, along with several songs from her upcoming album. She will be joined on stage by Stephan Oberhoff (keyboard, guitar) and Susan Holder (vocals, percussion).

Peter Nero to Bring Broadway to the State Theatre, 6/14

Fifty years since the start of his career, Peter Nero is one of the preeminent pianists and conductors in the country. The two-time Grammy Award winner will 'tickle the ivories' for Peter Nero's Broadway at the State Theatre on Saturday, June 14th.

Grammy-winner Melissa Manchester - Saturday, May 31 at 8 p.m. ($69 & $66)). Following the record-breaking attendance of Festival 2013, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival announces the full 2014 Festival free and ticketed event schedule. Engelbert Humperdinck to Make His Segerstrom Center Debut, 9/20

Grammy nominated, Golden Globe 'Entertainer of the Year' and multi-platinum selling artist Engelbert Humperdinck will perform at Segerstrom Center for the Arts for one night only on Saturday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Segerstrom Hall. Smokey Joe's Cafe-The Songs of Leiber and Stoller transports audiences to the golden age of rock, rhythm and blues this spring at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater. Director Randy Johnson returns to Arena Stage following the success of A Night with Janis Joplin (which enjoyed two runs at Arena Stage followed by a subsequent run on Broadway) to helm this Grammy Award-winning tribute to legendary songwriting duo Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, which originally opened on Broadway in 1995 and became the longest running musical revue, topping 2,000 performances. Bursting with hit tunes including 'Hound Dog,' 'Jailhouse Rock,' 'Stand by Me,' 'Love Potion #9' and 'On Broadway,' Smokey Joe's Cafe showcases choreography by Parker Esse (Arena Stage's The Music Man, Oklahoma!) and music direction by Victor Simonson (Center Stage's A Civil War Christmas, Arena Stage's 3 Mo' Divas) and runs April 25-June 8, 2014 in the Fichandler Stage.
