The Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) is soliciting submissions for the 5th Annual Dottie Burman and John Wallowitch Songwriting Awards. The Submission Period runs from Sunday, September 1st through Monday, September 30th. Winners will receive a $500 cash prize, a certificate, and a performance of their song at the upcoming MAC event MAC presents They Write the Songs, to be held on November 17th at Engleman Recital Hall at Baruch College.

Three world premieres, seven productions in all, are scheduled for the 10th season at the Douglas. In addition, three Los Angeles solo artists will be presented in the popular DouglasPlus program, and will represent CTG in the Radar L.A. festival.
