Maryam Alakbarli, a talented French painter with Down syndrome, will make her AQUA Art Miami debut during this year's Miami Art Week. The Paris-based artist's work, which include drawings, acrylics and oil on canvas, will be featured at the BP Project gallery booth # at AQUA Art Miami, a sister fair of Art Miami, at the AQUA Hotel in Miami Beach. A VIP Preview will be held on Wednesday, December 6 before the fair opens its doors to the public December 7-10.

The McCallum Theatre's 30th Anniversary fundraising gala will be headlined by two of the McCallum Theatre's all-time favorite artists Chris Botti and The TEN Tenors in a very special performance on November 30. Proceeds from the 30th Anniversary Gala fundraising event help fund McCallum Theatre operations as well as arts education programs that bring training in theatre, dance, music and visual arts to 40,000 schoolchildren and educators each year, in more than 300 classrooms. These funds also make it possible to continue to bring world-class performances to over 150,000 residents and visitors to the Coachella Valley annually.
