Hit artists the Goo Goo Dolls are hard at work on an upcoming album for this spring! Their first single from the album is making waves in anticipation of its launch in February.

The VH1 Save The Music Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to restoring instrumental music education programs in our nation's public schools, announced their 2013 Ambassador class this week with an innovative social media campaign entitled 'Pass the Note' kicked off by Mariah Carey and a traditional announcement by Andy Grammer on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live!

Last night John Rzeznik of GOO GOO DOLLS joined Taylor Swift on stage at Madison Square Garden to perform the Goos classic 'Iris.' Ms. Swift has been covering the song in her live shows and jumped at the chance to perform the song live with the song's author. Click here to view the performance.

The GOO GOO DOLLS are set to play The King Center on Saturday, November 5, at 8 pm.

The 2008 Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF) Awards show was a night full of musical highlights and heavyweights as SHOF Chairman/CEO Hal David and President Linda Moran helped induct songwriting heavyweights including Desmond Child, Albert Hammond, Loretta Lynn, Alan Menken and John Sebastian into its hallowed Hall, and saluted honorees Paul Anka, Anne Murray, John Rzeznik and Milt Okun for their contributions to popular music.

ASCAP President and Chairman Marilyn Bergman is pleased to announce that singer-songwriter and 2004 ASCAP Founders Award honoree Jackson Browne will be a special guest at the 3rd annual ASCAP 'I Create Music' EXPO on April 10. Browne will be interviewed and will answer questions from the audience of songwriters and composers. The EXPO will take place April 10-12 at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles.
