Tony winner Judith Light (Broadway's The Assembled Parties & Other Desert Cities; TV's Transparent, Ugly Betty ) will join Roberta Colindrez (Fun Home; TV's I Love Dick ), Zachary Spicer (The Good Catholic), Carson Meyer (SPF-18; TV's Dolly Parton's Coat of Many Colors ), and John Ortiz (Kong: Skull Island; TV's Togetherness ) in the upcoming indie drama MS. WHITE LIGHT.

The Public Theater will begin previews on Sunday, October 22 for the world premiere of Illyria, written and directed by Richard Nelson, part of The Public's Astor Anniversary Season at their landmark downtown home on Lafayette Street, celebrating 50 years of new work at 425 Lafayette Street and the 50th Anniversary of HAIR. The Minnesota Orchestra announces plans today for Sommerfest 2017, unveiling a celebratory summer festival in which the Orchestra salutes two of its artistic leaders: Doc Severinsen on his 90th birthday, and Sommerfest Artistic Director Andrew Litton, who has announced that this summer will mark his final season as the head of the festival. Running from July 3 to August 5, Minnesota Orchestra's summer season includes two tribute concerts to Pops Conductor Laureate Severinsen; performances by Litton and his friends André Watts, William Wolfram and New York City Ballet dancers; and culminates with the opera Litton has long wanted to conduct in Minnesota, Strauss' Salome. The summer season also involves the annual Symphony for the Cities concerts, two previously announced regular season programs and the return of the Minnesota Orchestra Fantasy Camp.
MAME Adds Performance at Riverside Theatre

Due to popular demand, a performance has been added to the regularly scheduled run of Mame. The added performance will take place on Sunday, March 19 at 7:30pm, making week two of the run a 9-performance week. Mame runs from March 7 -26, 2017 at Riverside Theatre.
