These unions are among the very first in New York State, following the landmark bill recently passed by state legislators. The event is being arranged by HAIR and Broadway Impact. John Raymond Barker (aka Jerby) returns to The Duplex (61 Christopher Street at 7th Ave) with a brand new show, A VERY JERBY CHRISTMAS on December 4, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. The show is John's unique take on Christmas, whether comically recalling Christmas with family or his new husband, skewering conservative politicians, or dreaming of Christmases yet to come. Appearances by his conservative, ex-gay character, Brother Barker, and stand-up by his baby brother, Jason Barker (direct from several appearances at Carolines on Broadway) fill out a festive evening capped by an expanded live performance of his hit YouTube video, 'A Lady GaGa Christmas Medley'. The show features both classic and new Christmas favorites as well as original music and is directed by Jared R. Pike.
