The Arizona Theatre Company Board of Trustees has named Billy Russo as full-time Managing Director to complete the executive management team following the announcement that David Ivers will assume responsibilities as Artistic Director beginning July 1.

On June 1st, 2017, SeeNoSun OnStage will open a four week run of Doubt, A Parable, John Patrick Shanley's controversial Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning drama. The play examines the Catholic Church abuse scandal while trying to answer the question, 'What do you do when you're not sure? 

Following a critically acclaimed run at Theatre N16 last year, it is today announced that Gareth O'Connor will reprise the titular role of Danny in John Patrick Shanley's Danny and the Deep Blue Sea and will be joined by Megan Lloyd-Jones in the role of Roberta. Directed by Deputy Artistic Director of Theatre N16, Courtney Larkin, the production will open at the Old Red Lion Theatre on 6 June and run until 24 June.

On Friday, June 9th, 2017, 5-7pm — a Special Book Event for “CREATE! How Extraordinary People Live To Create and Create To Live” — a new book by best-selling author, Ronald Rand — will be held at The Drama Book Shop, 250 West 40 Street in New York City. 

Erik Ehn's Quiet House directed by Glory Kadigan premieres June 23 at the 2017 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity (The Festivity runs June 12 - July 9 at The Clemente, 107 Suffolk Street, NYC).

The WAM Theatre 2017 Fresh Takes Play reading series continues with The Droll by Meg Miroshnik at 3:30 pm on Sunday, June 4 at No. Six Depot Roastery and Cafe in West Stockbridge. After a nationwide search, the Arizona Theatre Company (ATC) board of directors has named David Ivers, most recently the artistic director at Utah Shakespeare Festival, as ATC's new Artistic Director. Ivers will begin his new role on July 1.

Ending one of the longest tenures in American theatre, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announced today that Founding Artistic Director Robert Kelley will retire at the conclusion of the company's 50th season, 2019/2020.
