LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's new initiative devoted to producing work of emerging playwrights, directors and designers, will produce STUNNING, a new play by David Adjmi, directed by Anne Kaufmann, as the second offering of its inaugural season. STUNNING will be presented June 1 ? 27, 2009 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project, (229 W. 42 Street).

David Mamet's 'Oleanna' opens at the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum on Friday, June 5, at 8 p.m. Featuring Bill Pullman and Julia Stiles under the direction of Tony Award-winner Doug Hughes, 'Oleanna' continues through July 12.

The Canadian Stage Company wraps its 2008.2009 season with Doubt, a parable, the award-winning play that's taken North America by storm. The production stars Canadian theatre icons Seana McKenna (Canadian Stage's The Clean House, Wit) and David Storch (Canadian Stage's Frost/Nixon and director of Palace of the End), and is helmed by renowned director Marti Maraden (Canadian Stage's Trying).

Previews begin Monday, June 1, for STUNNING, the second production of LCT3's inaugural season at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project, (229 W. 42 Street). STUNNING, a new play by David Adjmi, directed by Anne Kauffman features Sas Goldberg, Danny Mastrogiorgio, Cristin Milioti, Steven Rattazzi, Jeanine Serralles and Charlayne Woodard STUNNING will open Thursday, June 18 at 6:45pm and run through Saturday, June 27.

Center Theatre Group has announced that Bill Pullman and Julia Stiles will appear in David Mamet's 'Oleanna', the third production of the Mark Taper season, replacing the previously announced 'Uncle Vanya.' That production was cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. Tony-winning Broadway director Doug Hughes will stage 'Oleanna,' which is scheduled to run May 28th through July 12th. Opening night is scheduled June 5th.

New Village Arts Presents John Patrick Shanley's FOUR DOGS AND A BONE, directed by Joshua Everett Johnson. Featuring NVA Ensemble Members Joshua Everett Johnson, Kristianne Kurner and Amanda Sitton with Actors Equity Member Eric Poppick.

THE BURNT PART BOYS -- a new musical by Mariana Elder (book), Nathan Tysen (lyrics) and Chris Miller (music), directed by Erica Schmidt ('Humor Abuse') -- will have an innovative production and development schedule on its way to an Off-Broadway premiere in the spring of 2010 when it will be presented as a co-production by Playwrights Horizons (Artistic Director, Tim Sanford; Managing Director, Leslie Marcus) and the Vineyard Theatre (Artistic Director, Douglas Aibel; Executive Director, Jennifer Garvey-Blackwell) at Playwrights Horizons, it has been announced by both non-profit theaters.

West Virginia Public Theatre's Founder and Executive Director Ron Iannone has announced the lineup for the 2009 summer season, which runs June 23 through August 9, 2009. WVPT will be celebrating its 25th anniversary season and has, once again, lined up another summer filled with Broadway's best productions.

LAByrinth Theater Company (John Ortiz, Artistic Director; Philip Seymour Hoffman, Co-Artistic Director; John Gould Rubin, Co-Artistic & Executive Director) will present a one-night-only Benefit event featuring short plays and a dance party on June 16, 2009 at St. Paul's Hall (Columbus Avenue at 59th Street). School of Visual Arts (SVA) 20th annual Dusty Film and Animation Festival and Awards for 2009 - which highlighted over 100 films by students graduating from the BFA Film, Video and Animation Department, proudly bestowed the following individuals awards for their work in film and animation on Saturday, May 9, at an invite-only gala awards ceremony at the all-new SVA Theatre (333 W. 23rd Street).

The 20th annual Dusty Film and Animation Festival and Awards will highlight over 100 films by students graduating from the BFA Film, Video and Animation Department at the School of Visual Arts (SVA). The program includes screenings of short films, videos and animations.

TheatreWorks New Milford is seeking one white man, age 35-45, two white women, ages 25-65, and one African-American woman, age 35-45 for the Tony Award-winning drama, DOUBT, by John Patrick Shanley.

The Cult singer Ian Astbury will be hitting the stage with his new project The Soft Revolt to raise money for Apollonia Players' production of Savage in Limbo by John Patrick Shanley (a silent auction will also be held). The Bowery Electric will be hosting a run of the play from June 12th to the 28th. Shanley is best known for his work Doubt, which was made into an Oscar-nominated film last year starring Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
