SNL Writer Michael Che Performs at Comix At Foxwoods Tonight

Recently named one of Rolling Stone's '50 Funniest People,' Michael Che will bring his stand-up hilarity back to the Comix stage for performances tonight, Nov. 29 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. to round out Thanksgiving weekend in style.

Jason Alexander, Yo-Yo Ma & More Set for Tanglewood's 2014 Summer Season

In 2014 Tanglewood welcomes Andris Nelsonsfor his first festival appearances as BSO Music Director Designate. His first of four concerts with the BSO will be an all-Dvo?ak program, with the composer's symphonic poem The Noonday Witch, the Violin Concerto with soloist Anne-Sophie Mutter, and the Symphony No. 8 (7/11). For his second BSO program on July 19, Maestro Nelsons will be joined by Swedish trumpeter Hakan Hardenberger performing his compatriot Rolf Martinsson's Trumpet Concerto, on a program with music by Brahms and Tchaikovsky. The following Sunday afternoon (7/20), Maestro Nelsons will open his BSO program withChristopher Rouse's Rapture, followed by Lalo'sSymphonie espagnole, with violin soloist Joshua Bell, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 5.

Arden Children's Theatre to Present SIDEWAYS STORIES FROM WAYSIDE SCHOOL, 12/4-2/15

Arden Theatre Company opens its 16th Season of Children's Theatre with Sideways Stories from Wayside School. Based on the beloved book series by Louis Sachar, this adaptation by John Olive will be directed by Whit MacLaughlin. The production runs from December 4, 2013 through February 15, 2014 and includes weekday matinee performances for students and weekend performances for families. Best enjoyed by families with children ages 5 and older, Sideways Stories from the Wayside School runs on the Arden's F. Otto Haas Stage at 40 N. 2nd Street in the heart of Old City, Philadelphia.

Bob Saget Hosts COOL COMEDY - HOT CUISINE for Scleroderma Research, Today

Actor/Comedian/Director Bob Saget will host Cool Comedy - Hot Cuisine, the signature event of the Scleroderma Research Foundation (SRF) today, November 4 at Carolines on Broadway. Saget, an SRF Board Member who lost his sister to scleroderma, will be joined in the fundraising effort bycomedians Jim Gaffigan, John Oliver (The Daily Show) and other special guests. Saget's friend and co-star from the Full House days, John Stamos (Necessary Roughness),will co-host a live auction featuring six high-end packages.

'Sideways Stories from Wayside School' opens today, Oct. 18 at Stages Theatre Company (STC) with limited availability for weekday matinees. Written by Louis Sachar, this book is an appropriate addition to Stages Theatre Company's 30th anniversary season where 'there are thirty stories from the thirtieth story of Wayside School.' In the story, the builder makes a mistake and turns the plans on their side. That's why Wayside School is thirty stories high with one classroom on each level.

The 8th Annual Laugh For Sight NYC All-Star Comedy Benefit, announces comedians, Jim Gaffigan and Sue Costello will be joining, Jerry Seinfeld, Robert Klein, Hiram Kasten, and Brian Fischler. The benefit, hosted by WFAN's "Boomer & Carton In the Morning's" Craig Carton, will take place on Monday, October 28th at 7:00p.m. at Gotham Comedy Club in New York City.
