Variety reports that Boardwalk Empire's Vincent Piazza, an early frontrunner for the role of 'Tommy Devito' in Clint Eastwood's upcoming film adaptation of the musical JERSEY BOYS, has officially joined the project.

According to an Equity casting notice, Sting's new stage musical, THE LAST SHIP, which will soon have a benefit concert at the Public Theatre, will be heading to Broadway in 2014. Rehearsals are set to begin in May of 2014, with an out of town run beginning in June, and Broadway previews beginning in October/November.
