For the past 4 seasons, she served as the Director of New Play Development for Magic Theatre in San Francisco and dramaturged the world premieres of Octavio Solis' Se Llama Cristina, Linda McLean's Every Five Minutes, Christina Anderson's pen/man/ship and John Kolvenbach's Sister Play. As the resident producer for Magic Theatre's developmental programming, Jacob's credits include 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015 Virgin Play Series, the 2012 Asian Explosion Reading Series and the 2013 Costume Shop Festival.

Equal parts hilarious and gut wrenching, this thriller invokes a touch of Mamet and shades of Shepherd to put an original spin on the concept of 'sins of the father.'

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, is pleased to announce the recipients of the Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards for the 2014-15 season. The awards, totaling $858,000, allow 26 productions extra time in the development and rehearsal of new plays with the entire creative team, helping to extend the life of the play after its first run.

Swandive Theatre returns to the backyard this summer for the 5th annual Veggie Stock Theatre! Amphibian Stage Productions presents its third main stage production of the 2014 season, The Nosemaker's Apprentice: Chronicles of a Medieval Plastic Surgeon. Jay Duffer, John Forkner, Alexandra Lawrence, Brandon Murphy and Scott Zenreich will star in this comedy, running today, July 10 through Sunday, August 10 at Amphibian's Berlene T. & Jarrell R. Milburn Theatre at 120 S. Main Street. David A. Miller will direct the production.
