Route 66 Theatre Company announces an exciting 2015-2016 Season. In their seventh year as a company and third year as a resident company at Greenhouse Theater Center, Route 66 Theatre Company will present two Chicago premiere plays, a world premiere, the second year of its new play development workshop, Test Drive, and its continued Monthly Reading Series, The Driver's Seat at Murphy's Irish Bistro.

This cutting edge contemporary drama chronicles an encounter between two adult brothers, Jack and Bob--Jack is doing great, and Bob is...Bob. Secrets emerge as the two men stumble through the emotional fog of their relationship with each other and their father. Equal parts hilarious and gut wrenching, this thriller invokes a touch of Mamet and shades of Shepherd to put an original spin on the concept of 'sins of the father.'

About Face Theatre is pleased to continue its 2014-15 season with the Chicago premiere of ABRAHAM LINCOLN WAS A F*GG*T by Bixby Elliot, directed by Artistic Director Andrew Volkoff, playing June 5 - July 5, 2015 at the Greenhouse Theater Center (Upstairs Studio), 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, is pleased to announce the recipients of the Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards for the 2014-15 season. The awards, totaling $858,000, allow 26 productions extra time in the development and rehearsal of new plays with the entire creative team, helping to extend the life of the play after its first run.

Swandive Theatre returns to the backyard this summer for the 5th annual Veggie Stock Theatre!
