On March 27, 2020, Cooking Vinyl present Abolition of the Royal Familia the 17th album by THE ORB, formed prolific electronic godfather Alex Paterson and his rotating roster of collaborative cohorts. It forms part two of a pair – a continuation of the same “anything goes” ethos as the previous, critically-acclaimed 2018 longplayer No Sounds Are Out Of Bounds.

Rather than sitting at home playing video games or complaining of boredom, hundreds of young people across the city are preparing to showcase their talents at the second annual Art of Resilience Starr Summer Youth Festival on Saturday, July 25 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. The event will be held at Paradise Valley Park (formerly Harmonie Park) and the Carr Center, 311 East Grand River, in downtown Detroit.

Jen Noble (Ghost), Remy Zaken (Spring Awakening), Jeremy Greenbaum (Newsies), Corey Mach (Godspell), Chris McCarrell (LES MISERABLES), and Kevin Carolan (Newsies) attended a launch party last weekend on Sunday, October 26 for BACK TO REALITY at Tribeca Cinemas. Broadway Sings for Pride will kickoff NYC Gay Pride 2013 by celebrating with their third annual Gay Pride benefit concert. The special one-night benefit entitled ' Unite' with join forces with American Idol and Billboard recording artistic Kimberley Locke, Broadway powerhouse Eden Espinosa (star of Wicked, Rent, Brooklyn The Musical), American Idol and Rent star Anwar Robinson and over 20 members of the Broadway community. The concert will benefit the Hetrick-Martin Institute and Broadway Sings for Pride. There will also be special speakers including a message of hope from Steven Guy and James Clementi of the Tyler Clementi Foundation. The night will be hosted by award winning host from the hit show 'truTV Presents: the World's Dumbest' Scott Nevins with staging by Rachele Rommes (Minnesota Timberwolves choreographer). A live auction will happen before the show.

An intimate production of 'Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens' will be performed at the Triad Theatre in Manhattan on Mar. 8 to support The Trevor Project. Ryan Berman, a Marymount Manhattan College directing student, and Jason Haft, an NYU student, produce the benefit. The two also direct the evening with Steve Bednasz at the piano. Elizabeth Espinoza stage manages.
