LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's programming initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and developing new audiences, will present the 4000 Miles a new play by Amy Herzog, directed by Daniel Aukin, as the third production of its 2010-2011 season.

Following the sold out performances and overflow crowds at its first eight Cino Nights presentations (of new plays by Gary Sunshine, Mando Alvarado, Courtney Baron, Florencia Lozano, Kristen Palmer, Emily DeVoti, Lucy Thurber, and Jessica Dickey) Rising Phoenix Rep continues the series on June 19th at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. with CLOWN BAR by Adam Szymkowicz.

This summer, Broadway actors Darlene Love, Julia Murney, Anthony Rapp and Matt Dengler star in 'Free to Dream: New Songs for the American Journey,' a concert specially adapted for Colonial Williamsburg. Television personality Willard Scott also lends his recorded voice to the program, which showcases the people and places that make up the fabric of America with musical styles from country, rock and pop to swing and the blues. It is a compilation of pieces by Grammy-winning composer Doug Katsaros and two-time Emmy-nominated lyricist William Schermerhorn. A nine-piece band accompanies the singers.

Yellow Face, the nationally-acclaimed play by Tony Award winning playwright David Henry Hwang, makes its Chicago debut at Silk Road Theatre Project (SRTP), produced in association with the Goodman Theatre.

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) concludes its 25th Anniversary season with a celebration of its history with 10x25, an all-commissioned, one-act festival of ten-minute plays by twenty-five of the extraordinary playwrights who have been produced there since 1985.

Signature Theatre Company (Founding Artistic Director James Houghton; Executive Director Erika Mallin), will launch the theatre's new home, Signature Center, with Athol Fugard as its inaugural Residency One playwright. Residency One is Signature's core one year playwright-in-residence program that produces a series of plays from the body of work of one accomplished writer. Throughout the season, Signature will explore the works of Fugard, the South African playwright, director and actor, who will also be honored with a special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement at the Tony Awards this Sunday, June 12.

Tony Kushner's THE INTELLIGENT HOMOSEXUAL'S GUIDE TO CAPITALISM AND SOCIALISM WITH A KEY TO THE SCRIPTURES presented by The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) and Signature Theatre Company (Founding Artistic Director James Houghton; Executive Director Erika Mallin) in association with the Guthrie Theater (Joe Dowling, Director) will begin its final week of performances on Tuesday, June 7.

Golden Globe Award winner and Academy Award nominee Marsha Mason and Drama Desk Award winner and Tony Award nominee Paxton Whitehead will head the cast of Westport Country Playhouse's scintillating comedy of manners, "The Circle," written by W. Due to popular demand, Signature Theatre Company (Founding Artistic Director James Houghton; Executive Director Erika Mallin) is pleased to announce a one-week extension for Tony Kushner's THE ILLUSION, directed by Michael Mayer. The production, originally slated to run through July 10, 2011, will now play through Sunday, July 17, 2011. THE ILLUSION began previews Tuesday, May 17 at the Peter Norton Space (555 W. 42nd Street) with opening night scheduled for June 5.

As Signature Theatre Company prepares for the January 2012 opening of their new Frank Gehry-designed home, Signature Center, they have launched a new video series featuring interviews with a wide array of playwrights, directors, actors, and others connected to the Theatre. Called 'Signature Stories,' the videos capture personal reminiscences about time spent at Signature and offer a 'behind the scenes' glimpse into the inner-workings of the Company.
