Waterfront Museum to visit Tribeca’s Hudson River Park Pier 25, 5/3-15

The antique barge that houses the Waterfront Museum will travel by tugboat to Tribeca's Hudson River Park Pier 25 for two weekends of fun maritime activity in May. Featured will be free open barge tours, a Pirate Show, a teen comic book launch, folk music, school visits and two "tug & barge" fundraiser cruises.

DANCE FLOOR CONFIDENTIAL: BEHIND THE SCENES OF DANCING WITH THE STARS Airs 4/23 on ABC

Hosted by 'Good Morning America's' Lara Spencer and by actor, 'Good Morning America' contributor and former 'Dancing with the Stars' contestant Cameron Mathison, 'Dance Floor Confidential' takes viewers backstage to reveal the secrets to the music, the dance, the costumes, the tanning, the judges, and even the tension and high octane pressure that make the show one of the most competitive on TV. Also, former 'Dancing with the Stars' favorites including Kirstie Alley, Joey Fatone, Julianne Hough, Ricki Lake and Mario Lopez talk candidly about the show that brought them a new level of fame, and in some cases, some dramatic weight loss.

Egypt, Canada, Ukraine Among Countries Featured in International Voices Project

Presented in collaboration with the represented country's consulates general and cultural institutions, the International Voices Project will celebrate the voices of international playwrights with eight premiere concert-style readings of selected plays that will be performed by a professional cast with stage directions read to allow audiences imaginations to create the world of the play. After each reading, there will be a post-performance discussion with the cast and audience, followed by a reception hosted by the consulates.

ASP Presents THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR at Davis Square Theatre 12/7

Actors' Shakespeare Project (ASP) continues its 8th season - Laughter, Loss & Longing ? with one of Shakespeare's later comedies, The Merry Wives of Windsor, directed by ASP resident acting company member Steven Barkhimer. The play previews on December 7th, 8th & 9th, and opens on Saturday, December 10th at 8:00pm at the newly opened Davis Square Theatre (formerly Jimmy Tingle's), 255 Elm Street, right in the heart of Davis Square in Somerville. For this production we hope to be long on the 'laughter' part of our theme and, the holidays and Davis Square are a perfect match for the escapades of the Merry Wives. 'It's the time of year when we should be laughing off the crap we have to go through the rest of the year,' Artistic Director Allyn Burrows said. 'And what better place to perform but in the space once operated by the hilarious comedian Jimmy Tingle.'

Tennessee Williams' SMALL CRAFT WARNINGS Closes 2/27

Mother of Invention Theatre Company, under the direction of founder and Artistic Director Gina Stahlnecker will celebrate the 100th year since Tennessee Williams' birth with the seldom seen study in moral squalor, SMALL CRAFT WARNINGS. The production will close on February 27, 2011. The production will run off-Broadway at Theatre Row (Studio Theatre - 410 West 42nd St.) Austin Pendleton will direct.

Wilson, Antaramian, et al. to Star in Wilma's MACBETH, 9/29-11/7

Philadelphia's Wilma Theater has announced casting for its upcoming production of William Shakespeare's MACBETH. The production will run from September 29 to November 7, with an official opening on Ocotber 6. It will be directed by Blanka Zizka.
