Something Marvelous, Chicago's annual magical realism festival, gears up for opening their 2016 full length production Don't Look by Gina Doherty. This world premiere production, directed by Artistic Director Emmi Hilger, will open June 17th and run through July 3rd at the Den Theatre (1333 N Milwaukee Ave.) Performances will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights at 7:30PM, Sundays at 3:00PM, with one additional performance Saturday June 25th at 3PM.

Creede Rep Partnering with Boulder's LOCAL Theater Company on New Work

CRT is thrilled to partner with Boulder's LOCAL Theater Company for a staged reading of The History Room by Charlie Thurston. Starring Christy Brandt, Kate Berry and John Green, The History Room will be a part of LOCAL Lab's 5th Annual New Play Fest. LOCAL Theater's Artistic Director Pesha Rudnick will helm the staged reading on Sunday, March 13 at 2pm at eTown Hall in Boulder, Colorado, and then, she will re-join the cast in Creede to direct the full production here this summer.

Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) announced today the signing of two franchise license agreements to convert two Hoteles Cosmos hotels in Bogotá into DoubleTree by Hilton properties, marking the entry of the brand into Colombia. Its American premiere will be presented by Theater for the New City's Dream Up Festival tonight, September 12, through September 20. The musical traces the intimate reunion of six high school friends in a Manhattan bar who have not seen each other for decades. After the initial joy at seeing each other again, the realities of their lives and what they have failed to achieve come to the surface.
