ICT's world premiere production in Long Beach is well directed, has an excellent cast, but at best comes off disconnected and unduly and unclearly satirical. If parody is the intent, it is far from apparent at the beginning.

The cast has been announced for the upcoming reading of Garbo and Me at the York Theatre on September 17, 2009. The new musical, with book and lyrics by Joanne Sydney Lessner (Fermat?s Last Tango) and music and lyrics by Joshua Rosenblum (Bush Is Bad), is directed by Andy Sandberg (Tony Award winning Producer of Hair).

Seattle Theatre Group (STG) presents Trader Joe's Silent Movie Mondays this June at The Paramount Theatre, Mondays at 7:00 p.m. This all classic silent film series features lovely women of the twenties and is accompanied live by Dennis James on the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ. The first film of this series, Flesh and the Devil will be screened for free, courtesy of Trader Joe's, STG's silent film series sponsor since 2002.
