Two River Theater, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, presents James Goldman's The Lion in Winter, directed by Tyne Rafaeli. The production will run now through December 4, 2016, with the opening night tonight, November 18 at 8pm. The lead production sponsor for The Lion in Winter is Monmouth University.

Ian McKellen plays 'Spooner', Patrick Stewart plays 'Hirst', Owen Teale plays 'Briggs' and Damien Molony plays 'Foster' in Sean Mathias' production of Harold Pinter's No Man's Land, which had its West End press night last night at Wyndham's Theatre following a UK tour. No Man's Land was first performed at Wyndham's in 1975 with Ralph Richardson and John Gielgud, following its premiere at the National Theatre.

Director Nathan Singh has been selected to be the 2016 SDCF Sir John Gielgud Fellow. He will be assisting Seret Scott on her production of Electra at the Court Theatre in Chicago, IL. Director Rhonda Kohl has been selected to be the 2016 SDCF Shepard and Mildred Traube Fellow. She will be working with Kathleen Marshall on the Broadway production of In Transit at the Circle in the Square Theatre in NYC.

With a great cast and live orchestra, the show - based on the classic Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw - tells the story of an aristocrat teacher, Mr. Henry Higgins, who takes up the challenge to transform the poor Eliza Doolittle, street vendor without any refinement, in a society lady. With luxurious scenery and costumes, the show will have place at the Santander Theatre, in Sao Paulo, between August 27 and November 6, 2016.
