New details and images are revealed for Disney's highly anticipated MARY POPPINS RETURNS in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, on stands this Friday.

The Old Globe today announced its 2017-2018 Season, which will kick off with the world premiere musical Benny & Joon, with book by Kirsten Guenther, music by Nolan Gasser, and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein.

Today, Disney has shared a first glimpse of Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt as Mary Poppins in MARY POPPINS RETURNS, the all new sequel to Disney's 1964 film “Mary Poppins.” Check it out below!

Disney has confirmed rumors from back in December that Angela Lansbury has joined the cast of 'Mary Poppins Returns,' the all-new sequel to Disney's 1964 film 'Mary Poppins' currently filming at Shepperton Studios. She will feature as the Balloon Lady, a treasured character from PL Travers' series of Mary Poppins children's books. The film is scheduled for release December 25, 2018.

Variety reports that Emily Mortimer and Ben Whishaw have signed on to the cast of Disney's MARY POPPINS RETURNS. The actors will join previously announced cast members Emily Blunt, Meryl Street and Lin-Manuel Miranda in the film.
