Northlight Theatre opens its 2010-2011 Season with Daddy Long Legs by John Caird and Paul Gordon, based on the novel by Jean Webster. The production, directed by John Caird, runs September 16 - October 24, 2010 at Northlight Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd in Skokie.

From October 14 through October 16, Tony award winner Frances Ruffelle (Les Miserables) will star in Songs From A Hotel Bedroom by Kate Flatt and Peter Rowe at Watford Palace Theatre. Robert Foxworth plays King Lear and Bruce Turk the Fool in Shakespeare's tragedy, directed by Festival Artistic Director Adrian Noble. The crowns are swapped in Alan Bennett's The Madness of George III, also helmed by Noble, where Miles Anderson will play King George III and Foxworth will play Dr. Willis. The Festival also includes Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew directed by Ron Daniels with Jonno Roberts and Emily Swallow as the two sparring lovers.

Goodman Theatre celebrates its 10th season in Chicago's North Loop Theatre District with a fresh take on an enduring masterpiece- Candide, Voltaire's effervescent, picaresque adventure, newly adapted and directed by Chicago's own Mary Zimmerman, the Goodman's Manilow Resident Director. Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the cast and creative team for Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs and Broadway Bound. Performed in repertory, Simon's semi-autobiographical plays follow the life of Eugene Morris Jerome from the foibles of youth in late-1930s Brooklyn to a career as a comedy writer for radio.

Ramin Karmiloo, Samantha Barks, Alfie Boe, Nick Jonas, Norm Lewis, Matt Lucas, Lea Salonga, Jenny Galloway, and Camilla Kerslake have completed the principal casting for the Les Miserables 25th anniversary concert at the O2. Nick Jonas has extended his role as Marius at the Queen's Theatre until July 24.
