Winner of the 2006 Hodges Contemporary Piano Competition, Schumann will present traditional Fantasies by Bach, Mozart, and Chopin interspersed with Fantasies and ‘almost-fantasies' by John Corigliano, Philip Glass, John Adams, Fazil Say, and David McIntyre- contemporary works written since 1975. Schumann's pianistic ‘stylings' morph one piece into the next creating a seamless thread from beginning to end.

Richard Stumpf has been appointed President of Imagem Music USA, the American branch of the pop music publishing company owned by Imagem. André de Raaff is CEO of Imagem, which also owns the giant publishing brands Rodgers & Hammerstein and Boosey & Hawkes. De Raaff announced Stumpf's appointment, which starts immediately.
