After almost a year on the 'In the Heights' tour, Shaun is back in the B'way company and stealing scenes.

Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. has been wrapping up its last 21 seasons by inviting any and all theater groups and performing individuals into its performance space at Angel Island, 735 W. Sheridan to celebrate the anniversary of the Woodstock Music and Art Fair of 1969. Abbie Hoffman Died For Our Sins was inspired by the need to do something to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Woodstock. Now it is the 41st Anniversary and there is an even louder outcry for celebration. This is the 22nd annual Abbie Hoffman Died For Our Sins. We have strived to recreate the spirit of Woodstock over the years by bringing some 40-50 different theater groups and performing individuals together for 3 days of non-stop theatrical entertainment and nothing but theatrical entertainment. This year we are ending our 22nd season with the festival happening on August 20, 21 & 22. Tickets for the event are $10 for a day pass (come and go all day just make sure you've got your pass), or $25 for a weekend pass (same as day pass only it applies toward the whole weekend). A free vintage Abbie Hoffman T-shirt will be given with all $25 weekend passes.

As a centerpiece of the Morrisville Business Association's borough-wide celebration of a 'Revolutionary Weekend,' Aug. 20 - 22, the nonprofit Actors' NET of Bucks County presents an encore production of the award winning musical 1776.

Lyric Theatre in Oklahoma City begins classes for its Lyric Theatre Academy on August 23rd. Music Director Alan Gilbert will lead the New York Philharmonic in Mahler's Symphony No. 6, launching a season-long focus that honors the 150th anniversary of the composer/conductor's birth and the 100th anniversary of his death and last season as music director of the New York Philharmonic, Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, September 30, at 7:30 p.m., and Friday, October 1, at 8:00 p.m.

Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Phil embark on their second season, one which features a greatly expanded presence for Dudamel in Los Angeles, with twelve weeks of subscription concerts at Walt Disney Concert Hall. During the 2010/11 season the LA Phil will present a vast spectrum of imaginative concerts, welcoming back old friends while continuing the tradition of introducing rising artists and composers.

Many businesses and restaurants are offering discounts to residents and visitors to the picturesque community located just across the Delaware River from Trenton, NJ.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey continues its summer season with George Bernard Shaw's comedy Arms and the Man. Arms and the Man begins performances on July 7 and continues through August 1.

The Metropolitan Opera announced plans for a series of free outdoor events this summer: operatic recitals that will take place in parks throughout the city and encore screenings of the Met's popular HD shows in Lincoln Center Plaza.

Starting next month, the Met will present Summer HD Encores, a series of popular Live in HD screenings from recent seasons, featuring opera's greatest stars in productions of repertory classics. Beginning June 16 and running through July 28, six operas will be shown in more than 400 movie theaters across the United States.
