UNCLE VANYA, 'LIFE AND TIMES' and More Headline Soho Rep's 2012-13 Season

Soho Rep has announced its fall-winter 2012-13 mainstage productions on the heels of its twice-extended, immensely acclaimed world premiere of Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, adapted by Annie Baker and directed by Sam Gold. This fall and winter, the 13-time OBIE-winning theater will introduce New York audiences to two more highly anticipated new works, by artists whose careers Soho Rep has nurtured: Jackie Sibblies Drury's We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia, Formerly Known as South West Africa, From the German Sudwestafrika, Between the Years 1884-1915, directed by Eric Ting; and Nature Theater of Oklahoma's epic musical serial, Life and Times: Episodes 1-4 a Soho Rep production presented by The Public Theater as a special engagement of the Under the Radar Festival 2013. Soho Rep's 2012/13 season is produced in association with John Adrian Selzer. (The theater will announce its spring production later this fall.)

The Public Theater Presents Soho Rep's Production of Nature Theater Production of OK's 'LIFE AND TIMES', 1/16-2/2

The Public Theater announced today that it will present the Soho Rep production of the American premiere of the Nature Theater of Oklahoma's LIFE AND TIMES: Episodes 1-4 as a special engagement of the 2013 Under the Radar Festival. Conceived and directed by Pavol Liska and Kelly Copper, the epic serial saga LIFE AND TIMES will run January 16 through February 2, 2013. The 2013 Under the Radar Festival will run January 9 through 20, 2013 at The Public Theater at Astor Place, 425 Lafayette Street.

A.R.T. to Present THE LILY’S REVENGE, Opening 10/12

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) has announced the company for Obie Award-winning Taylor Mac's five part theatrical event The Lily's Revenge, directed by Shira Milikowsky, with music by Rachelle Garniez. The production begins previews on Friday, October 12, and runs through Sunday, October 28, with press opening on Sunday, October 14 at 2:00pm at OBERON, A.R.T.s second stage andclub theater venue.

The Colony Theatre presents the second production of its "Season of Premieres" with the West Coast Premiere Premiere of BLAME IT ON BECKETT, written by John Morogiello and directed by Andrew Barnicle. BLAME IT ON BECKETT opens tonight, Saturday, August 11 at 8:00pm and continues through Sunday, September 2 at The Colony Theatre, 555 North Third Street (at Cypress) adjacent to the Burbank Town Center.
