If you're looking for a funny play concerning a heist, this is the show for you. Mischief Theatre's third production The Comedy About A Bank Robbery opened at the Criterion Theatre on London's West End in March 2016. A 2018-2019 touring production opened in Birmingham in August 2018. It is currently playing to crowds in Brighton's Theatre Royal.

Mischief Theatre's A Comedy About A Bank Robbery has recently embarked on its first UK tour, opening at the Rep in Birmingham this week. This production is the company's third large-scale show, following The Play That Goes Wrong and Peter Pan Goes Wrong, and it's also been running in the West End since March 2016.

The touring cast presents: Sean Carey as 'Sam Monaghan', David Coomber as 'Neil Cooper', Julia Frith as 'Caprice Freeboys', George Hannigan as 'Everyone Else', Liam Jeavons as 'Mitch Ruscitti', Damian Lynch as 'Robin Freeboys', Killian Macardle as 'Officer Randal Shuck', Yolanda Ovide as 'Ruth Monaghan', and Jon Trenchard as 'Warren Slax'. The Watermill Ensemble will be joined by Tyrone Huntley in the role of Lysander and Sophie Stone as Hermia for A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM by William Shakespeare, directed by Artistic Director, Paul Hart. Also joining the Ensemble are Eva Feiler (Puck), Lillie Flynn (Helena) and Joey Hickman (Demetrius). Fusing actor-musicianship with one of Shakespeare's great comedies, the production runs at the theatre from Today 10 May to Saturday 16 June.

Ahead of its second birthday in the West End this spring, the critically acclaimed and Olivier Award-nominated The Comedy About A Bank Robbery announces a new company. After a year of good behaviour at the Criterion the second company have been released on parole, with a new band of inmates starting performances from 27 February. Joining the cast are Samson Ajewole (Cooper), Jenna Augen (Ruth Monaghan), Jack Baldwin (Officer Shuck), Leonard Cook (Robin Freeboys), Matt Douglas-Hunt (Mitch Ruscitti) and Peter McGovern (Warren Slax). Continuing their roles as the bars-crossed lovers are Samuel Fogell (Sam Monaghan) and Holly Sumpton (Caprice Freeboys), and literally completing the cast is Chris Leask (Everyone Else).
