Portland Stage has announced its 2017-18 Mainstage Season!

Point St. Charles Community Theatre has announced its next play. Opening April 28th, 2017, VINTAGE HITCHCOCK is written by Joe Landry and directed by Emily Schon. In Joe Landry's play - spies; murder; love; and other trademarks of Alfred Hitchcock come to life.

TheatreSquared (T2) Artistic Director Robert Ford and Executive Director Martin Miller today announced TheatreSquared Season 12, a year-long lineup of world and regional premieres and acclaimed new plays. Artistic Director Jim Helsinger and Managing Director PJ Albert have announced the 10 productions that will comprise Orlando Shakespeare Theater (Orlando Shakes) in Partnership with UCF's upcoming 2017-2018 Season. The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey announces its 2017 lineup after completing an immensely successful 2016 season that was repeatedly featured in "Top Ten Productions of 2016" listings, such as The Star-Ledger, The Wall Street Journal, and NJ Arts. The 2017 season promises to be a thrilling one, featuring beloved classics, as well as an epic new work. The Theatre is especially proud to be the first theatre in the Northeast to present Shakespeare in Love by Lee Hall, the new play based on the Academy Award-winning film by Marc Norman and Tom Stoppard with music by Paddy Cunneen. The new stage adaptation is one of five plays to appear on STNJ's Main Stage in 2017 and will be accompanied with works by Moliere, Shakespeare and Joe Orton. 

The Washington Stage Guild starts its 'Pearl Anniversary' season with a remount of one of America's favorite holiday stories in It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. It's Christmas Eve, 1946, and we are the studio audience for a local radio station as its cast of voice actors and one very busy sound effects man broadcast the beloved tale of George Bailey and his encounter with Clarence, his guardian angel. This 'radio play-within-a-play' re-imagines the familiar movie as it would have been heard in homes all over America in the late 40s, when just such a broadcast took place. Playwright

Music Theatre of Connecticut MainStage, Fairfield County's professional award-winning theatre company, continues its 30th Anniversary Season with a production of the holiday favorite It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. The play will run December 9-18. Staged in a state-of-the-art 110-seat theatre, MTC's production of It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play presents Broadway actors in Connecticut's most intimate theatregoing experience. Howard Community College's Arts Collective continues its 22nd season with “A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play”, adapted for the stage by Joe Landry, with music by Kevin Connors, from the novella by Charles Dickens. The production will take place December 8–11, in the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center's Studio Theatre.
