Tony Award winning Broadway composer and international rock star David Bryan has donated a 9 foot Steinway concert grand piano to the United States State Department Collection to be housed in the Benjamin Franklin Ballroom at the Harry S. Truman State Department Building in Washington, DC. As a founding member and keyboard player for Bon Jovi, Bryan has toured the world and shared his music with millions of people. The plaque that accompanies the State Department piano reflects Bryan's personal belief that "In the timeless celebration of music is that which brings us together, not separates us." That belief is also underscored in Bryan's Tony Award winning Best Musical MEMPHIS, playing through August 5th at Broadway's Shubert Theater and across America on a celebrated national tour.

Hot off his run in "Dancing with the Stars," Emmy-winning television star, celebrity stylist, author and fashion designer, Carson Kressley will return to the Ogunquit Playhouse as Mr. Applegate (aka the Devil himself!) in the 2012 production of Damn Yankees (the new Boston Red Sox version!), on stage tonight, July 25 - August 18. This summer the Ogunquit Playhouse is celebrating its 80th anniversary of producing award-winning theatre in Southern Maine. Carson Kressley was last seen at the Ogunquit Playhouse in his critically acclaimed performance as Man in Chair during the 2010 run of The Drowsy Chaperone.

MEMPHIS the 2010 Tony Award-winner for Best Musical, opens at the San Diego Civic Theatre tonight, July 24 for a limited engagement and will play through July 29th.

The devilishly sexy Damn Yankees (the new Boston Red Sox version) is on stage at the Ogunquit Playhouse from July 25 - August 18. On June 28, Tony's di Napoli Restaurant in Times Square added a new portrait to their outstanding Broadway Wall of Fame honoring the cast of the new Broadway musical, Nice Work If You Can Get It, starring Matthew Broderick, Kelli O'Hara, Michael McGrath, Judy Kaye, Estelle Parsons, Chris Sullivan and Jennifer Laura Thompson. Hosts Valerie Smaldone and Bruce Dimpflmaier presented the Dan May portrait to the show's stars in an intimate ceremony, and BroadwayWorld was there for the photo op!

Due to popular demand, Denver Center Attractions announces an additional extension of I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE to feature a new summer schedule and prices. For performances July 3 - September 1 all tickets to the Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday matinee performances are $24. The summer performance schedule begins July 17. The producers of the 2010 Tony Award-winning Best Musical MEMPHIS announced tonight that the production will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, August 5, 2012 after 30 previews and 1,166 regular performances. MEMPHIS opened on October 19, 2009 at Broadway's Shubert Theatre (225 W. 44th Street), having begun previews on September 23rd.
