Tolins' SECRETS OF THE TRADE Opens At 59E59 Theaters, Begins 7/27

Cash, Chimo, Ellington & More Cast In Second Stage's BACHELORETTE, Opens 7/26

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) continues this summer's Second Stage Theatre Uptown Series with the New York premiere of Bachelorette, written by Leslye Headland. Directed by Trip Cullman, Bachelorette will feature Aya Cash, Tracee Chimo, Tate Ellington, Carmen M. Herlihy, Celia Keenan-Bolger and Eddie Kaye Thomas.

Second Stage Extends BACHELORETTE Through 8/14

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) announced today that it will extend its production of Leslye Headland's BACHELORETTE, directed by Trip Cullman, for one week, through Saturday, August 14. The production, which was originally scheduled to run through Saturday, August 7, began previews on July 12 and will open at Second Stage Theatre's uptown home, the McGinn/Cazale Theatre (Broadway at 76th Street) on Monday, July 26 at 7:00pm.

Jay Armstrong Johnson Stars In POOL BOY at Barrington Stage, Opens 7/13

Single tickets for Signature Theatre's 2010-2011 season go on sale Monday, July 5 at 10:00 am. The Tony Award(r)-winning company's 21st season begins on August 10 with the musical Chess by the composers of Mamma Mia! and continues through June with Yasmina Reza's award-winning play Art, Side by Side by Sondheim, and the world premieres of Ken Ludwig's A Fox on the Fairway, Joe Calarco's Walter Cronkite Is Dead., and Joseph Thalken's Wheatley's Folly.

Roache and Burns set for Eno's MIDDLETOWN at Vineyard Theatre, Previews 10/6

Golden Globe nominee Linus Roache (widely known for his role as Asst D.A. Michael Cutler on LAW & ORDER) and Heather Burns (most recently on stage in THE MARRIAGE OF BETTE AND BOO as well as the films MISS CONGENIALITY and TWO WEEKS NOTICE opposite Sandra Bullock) will star in the World-Premiere of Will Eno's play MIDDLETOWN, which begins previews at Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street) on October 6th, it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director for the Vineyard Theatre.

Playwrights Horizons and Vineyard Theatre are presenting the New York premiere of the new musical THE BURNT PART BOYS. With a book by Mariana Elder, music by Chris Miller, lyrics by Nathan Tysen and direction and musical staging by four-time Helen Hayes Award winner Joe Calarco (Shakespeare's R&J), the joint production opened on Tuesday, May 25 at 7PM. The limited engagement will run through Sunday, June 13 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theatre (416 West 42nd Street).
