The producers of the critically acclaimed AMERICAN IDIOT announced today that the GRAMMY® Award winning musical will launch a first national tour in the fall of 2011 in a city to be announced. Open call auditions, for all roles, will be held in Los Angeles, Toronto, Boston and Chicago this spring.

Thie week, Green Day released a music video for one of their current songs: 'Cigarettes and Valentines'. The track is a part of their upcoming live album with a bonus DVD entitled 'Awesome as F**k' and was recorded during their 2009-2010 world tour. Watch the music video below!

Sienna Miller, James Purefoy and Sheridan Smith will lead the cast in Terence Rattigan's Flare Path at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, directed by Trevor Nunn.

Beginning in the fall, AMERICAN IDIOT, which opened on Broadway in April 2010 and has been playing the St. James Theatre since, will be brought to venues around the country.

James Purefoy and Sheridan Smith will join Sienna Miller in Terence Rattigan's Flare Path, directed by Trevor Nunn at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Opening on 10 March 2011 with previews from 4 March 2011 Flare Path is booking until 4 June 2011. Set and costumes are by Stephen Brimson Lewis. Flare Path is produced by Matthew Byam Shaw for Playful Productions, Tom McKitterick and the Theatre Royal Haymarket Company in association with Act Productions Ltd.
