BRIC is pleased to announce that Sole Kings, its new scripted series written and directed by Michael Pinckney (The 25th Hour, Precious, Inside Man) and Executive Produced by Aziz Isham, Kuye Youngblood and Kecia Elan Cole, will premiere Monday, October 2 on BRIC TV, the New York Emmy- and Ippies Award-winning Brooklyn-focused cable TV and digital network.
Casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for the Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director; James Houghton, Founder) productions of Pulitzer Prize-winner Suzan-Lori Parks' The Red Letter Plays: f**king A & In the Blood. This is the first time these acclaimed plays will be presented together; they will run simultaneously at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). These two plays mark the final productions of Parks' Signature Residency One. All tickets for the initial runs of the productions are $30 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access.

DUETS with The Write Teacher(s) is set for April 22 at Feinstein's/54 Below at 9:30pm. Conceived, directed, produced by Megan Minutillo (in association with thewriteteachers.com), the evening will feature music from across the musical theatre canon, pairing one Broadway hopeful with one performing arts professional who has inspired them in their show business career, and featuring songs from shows that sparked the creative journey's of these Hopefuls!

Lincoln Center's acclaimed American Songbook series returns for its 18th season of celebrating the best in American singing and songwriting. During February and March 2016, established and rising singers and singer-songwriters across a range of genres-Southern soul, bluegrass, folk, R&B, indie rock, pop, musical theater, and more-will take The Appel Room stage for concerts that explore the many iterations of American song. And in spring, American Songbook will return to Alice Tully Hall with two dynamic women whose artistry in two very different arenas demonstrates the expansive reach of American song embodied in the series.
The full lineup is set for the 13th installment of the acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series, Broadway Sings Beyonce, which will feature completely new arrangements of her record-breaking hits, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations. THE COLOR PURPLE has won the 2016 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical. The original production ran on Broadway in 2005 and earned eleven 2006 Tony Awards nominations.
