The West-End premiere of the dark and devilish comedy CHICKEN arrives at the Trafalgar Studio 2 from tonight, 25 June 2012, starring Craig Kelly - known from his roles as Luke Strong in Coronation Street and Vince Tyler in Queer as Folk - as Wendall. CHICKEN will play until Saturday 21 July 2012. The opening night is on Tuesday 26 June at 7pm.

Northern Stage (formerly Newcastle Playhouse) and Sheffield Theatres today announce their first collaboration, a new production of Edward Albee's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?". The production will be directed by Northern Stage's Artistic Director Erica Whyman. "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" will play at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre (Wednesday 16 March - Thursday 7 April) and then continue to Northern Stage (Tuesday 12 April - Saturday 30 April).

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Friday 24 September for Ken Hill's The Invisible Man which previews at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 12 November with press night on 24 November and is booking until 13 February 2011. The Invisible Man will be directed by Ian Talbot, with illusions by Paul Kieve, set designs by Paul Farnsworth, costume designs by Matthew Wright, lighting by Jason Taylor, music by Steve Edis, sound by Gareth Owen and choreography by Sam Spencer-Lane. A revival of a much-earlier production during ACT 1's first 20 seasons, which was also directed by Seay, the cast featured some returning favorites including Riley Bryant, Caroline Davis, Douglas Goodman and Jordan Keller. The presence of these Nashville stage veterans made the production all the more appealing and, when supplemented by a talented group of newcomers, ensured that audiences would walk away humming a sprightly tune while contemplating the horrors of World War I. Who knew mustard gas could be so darn much fun?
