The Gallo Center Presents Gordon Lightfoot, 9/30

Singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot, whose career has spanned 50 years and produced numerous #1, Top 10 and Top 40 hits, including "If You Could Read My Mind," Carefree Highway" and "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald," will be appearing at the Gallo Center for the Arts at 7:30 pm on Monday, September 30.

Hotel Nikko San Francisco and Michael Feinstein have announced the upcoming lineup at the all-newFeinstein's at the Nikko for the months of October, November and December. Artists include Emmy Award winning actress Megan Mullally ('Will and Grace) and actress Stephanie Hunt ('Friday Night Lights,' 'Californication') and their band Nancy & Beth; actress, producer and singer Rita Wilson; Broadway star and recording artist Linda Eder; soul and jazz vocalist Oleta Adams; and more! Additional artists will be announced at a later date.

The Crazy Coqs Kicks Off September with Barb Jungr & Dave Willetts

Starting The Crazy Coqs' very exciting September schedule is the highly acclaimed Barb Jungr, who returns after a sell out week earlier this year with her new show HERE COMES THE NIGHT (September 3 - 7), followed by one of the country's leading musical stars Dave Willetts, in his show AN EVENING WITH DAVE WILLETTS (September 10 - 12). Making their debut at Crazy Coqs are the unmissable, unique piano duo Worbey and Farrell (September 13 & 14). The wonderfully talented theatre, TV and film actress Celia Imrie performs her debut cabaret show LAUGHING MATTERS (September 17 - 21) and also returning are Kit & McConnel with their new show SECOND MARRIAGE (September 24 - 28).

Groundbreaking actor, singer, dancer, author and educator Rita Moreno has been named the 50th recipient of SAG-AFTRA's highest tribute - the SAG Life Achievement Award for career achievement and humanitarian accomplishment.

Michael Feinstein and Pasadena POPS Perform MGM Movie Classics at the Arboretum Tonight

Fresh off the heels with rave reviews for his conducting debut with the Pasadena POPS, Michael Feinstein returns to lead the orchestra in a performance celebrating the legendary films of MGM. Michael Feinstein's MGM Movie Classics tonight, July 13 features rare and stunning arrangements from the golden age of the silver screen, and the orchestra will be joined by guest vocalists Ron Raines, Christine Ebersole, the cast of Hollywood Revisited, and the Debbie Allen Dance Academy Tap Ensemble.

Michael Feinstein Extends Contract with Pasadena POPS Through 2016

Pasadena Symphony Association President Diane Rankin and Chief Executive Officer Paul Jan Zdunek today announced the extension of Principal Pops Conductor Michael Feinstein's contract through 2016. His current contract was for a 1-year term, but fresh off the heels with rave reviews for his conducting debut to capacity crowds on June 1st, the leadership of the Pasadena Symphony Association immediately offered Feinstein a multi-year contract extension. The decision represents a confident commitment to Feinstein and support for his vision for the Pasadena POPS Summer Concert Series at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden.

A Broadway star, two television legends and a guitar virtuoso have joined the entertainment lineup for the Encore Celebration Gala Weekend presented by Krieg DeVault, beginning tonight, June 28. The benefit for the Center for the Performing Arts also serves as the setting for the second annual Great American Songbook Hall of Fame induction. Frank Sinatra, Liza Minelli, Rita Moreno and Jimmy Webb represent the 2013 class of the Great American Songbook Hall of Fame.

“Josh Groban: All That Echoes Artist Cut” Coming to U.S. Cinemas This July

With overwhelming fan demand continuing for Josh Groban's No. 1 album released earlier this year, one of the most powerful voices in modern popular music is returning to the big screen in a special edition of 'Josh Groban: All That Echoes Artist Cut.' This special event, a personal collaboration between Josh Groban, Warner Bros. Records and NCM Fathom Events, will hit select movie theaters nationwide on Tuesday, July 16 at 7:30 p.m. local time, with an updated welcome message to movie theater audiences from the singer. Groban was up-close and candid with fans during the original February 4 premiere event, broadcast from New York's famed Lincoln Center, where he performed hits and selections from his just-released album 'All That Echoes,' which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. In addition to his original February Q&A session with fans who texted and tweeted from around the country, updates to this special encore will include a very special behind-the-scenes journey through the creative process of the making of 'All that Echoes' as seen through the eyes of Groban himself.

Ted Neeley Comes to Delaware Theatre Company Tonight

Ted Neeley, star of both the 1973 classic film and various Broadway touring versions of Jesus Christ Superstar returns to the road, this time without the robe. Fronting his five piece Little Big Band, Ted returns to his Texas roots and his first love as a 'singer in a rock and roll band'. Ted will debut new music with the group, which includes Kim Norton, a stellar guitarist who has provided Ted with an underscore of searing riffs on more than 1000 performances of Superstar, and bassist James Webb, son of famed songwriter Jimmy Webb, and co-founder of the popular Webb Brothers Band.

Michael Feinstein Channels 'Old Blue Eyes' as He Brings THE SINATRA PROJECT to the McCallum, 3/1-2

Cabaret Icon Michael Feinstein returns to the McCallum Theatre with 'The Sinatra Project,' for two performances - tonight, March 1 and Saturday, March 2 -- dedicated to the great Frank Sinatra. Michael reflects Sinatra's sensibility by interpreting the songs in conceptually different styles from Sinatra's own renditions. The results are fascinatingly unique and memorably beautiful. Billed 'The Sinatra Project', the concert is presented in two parts on these consecutive evenings. In the second concert, Michael reinterprets songs by such greats as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peggy Lee, and more. 'The second volume is really about Sinatra and his friends,' says Michael. 'It's about the people he influenced and who influenced him.'

Broadway Records Releases a Series of Live at 54 Below CDs

One of the newest ventures of Broadway Records is the release of a new series of CDs recorded live at 54 Below in New York City. The first singer to open the elegant new night club space was Broadway's extraordinary Patti Lupone last June, 2012. So it is only fitting that her Far Away Places be the first recording. Two-time Tony Award winning actor/singer Norbert Leo Butz played the room in August, 2012. His exciting Memories & Mayhem is the second live CD released.
