Matthew White is to direct Tamzin Outhwaite as Charity Hope Valentine in the Tony Award-winning musical Sweet Charity at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Sweet Charity previews from 21 November with press night on 02 December, and runs until 07 March 2010. The box office opens for general public bookings at noon on Thursday 17 September. Greg MacKellan, artistic director of 42nd Street Moon, and Stephanie Rhoads, producing director, today announced details of the upcoming 2009-10 season of uncommon musical theater. The offering has been called 'Forget Your Troubles' and as Rhoads explains: 'In this time of turmoil and uncertainly, we hope that 42nd Street Moon will be a place to experience the sweet joy that a visit to vintage Broadway musicals can offer.'

The Carlyle Hotel (James McBride, Managing Director) welcomes the return of John Pizzarelli & Jessica Molaskey, the gifted husband-and-wife team, as they open the fall entertainment season in the legendary Café Carlyle. Beginning Tuesday, September 9th and playing through Saturday, November 1st, Mr. & Mrs. Pizzarelli, who made their debut engagement in May 2007, will once again grace the stage to present an entertaining evening of romantic ballads and swinging jazz tunes, including songs from each of their latest recordings: 'With A Song in My Heart' (Telarc, 2008), Mr. Pizzarelli's tribute to composer Richard Rodgers, and 'A Kiss to Build a Dream On' (Arbors Records, 2008), a sophisticated collection of 15 of Ms. Molaskey's favorite tunes.
