STUPID F#CKING BIRD Begins 11/14 at Ringwald Theatre

Aaron Posner's Stupid f**king Bird, a "sort of" adaptation of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, makes its Michigan premiere beginning November 14 at Ferndale's The Ringwald Theatre. After previous productions played in Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Los Angeles to great acclaim, The Ringwald is honored to bring the play to Detroit.

This sexy drama, running through August 28, will feature Jill Dion, Drew Parker ('The Sins of Sor Juana') and Chelsea Sadler ('The Little Dog Laughed'), as Marie. It is directed by Shannon Ferrante.

Studio Six to Perform at Wildside Theatre Festival, 1/4-16

Studio Six of the Moscow Art Theater is pleased to announce the selection of their award-winning production ...the itsy bitsy spider... to be featured at the 14th Annual Wildside Theatre Festival in Montreal. An original adaptation of Dostoevsky's Demons, ...the itsy bitsy spider... is conceived and directed by the internationally renowned director Alexandre Marine, and is performed by the members of the New York-based company Studio Six of the Moscow Art Theatre. The bold, highly physical adaptation features original music and choreography performed by the tightly knit ensemble, bringing a news perspective to one of Dostoevsky's most arresting tales. ...the itsy bitsy spider... will run as part of the Wildside Theatre Festival in Montreal at the Centaur Theatre from January 4-16, 2011.
