Stages Repertory Theatre And The Evelyn Rubenstein JCC Present THE REVISIONIST

Stages Repertory Theatre, in partnership with The Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center ('the J'), presents the regional premiere of playwright and Academy Award-nominated actor Jesse Eisenberg's original drama The Revisionist, running April 10-22, 2018. All performances of The Revisionist will take place at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center.

HANNA AND THE MOONLIT DRESS Lights Up The Berman

Hanna and the Moonlit Dress is an interactive new musical about the magic of a good deed, based on the classic Israeli tale Hanna's Sabbath Dress. The time-honored tale will be brought to life at The Berman Center for the Performing Arts at noon and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2018.

The Berman Presents the Michigan Five

The Michigan Five, featuring the most outstanding and creative dance talent from colleges and universities throughout the state will take center stage at The Berman Center for the Performing Arts March 17.  In this dynamic performance, the best dancers from five Michigan colleges and universities will dazzle audiences with a show designed by the world's finest choreographers.

Arizona Theatre Company (David Ivers, Artistic Director; Billy Russo, Managing Director) is pleased to announce the addition of Sue DeBenedette as Director of Marketing, John Geersten as Company Manager and Julia Waterfall-Kanter as Director of Development. 

World Premiere of WILD HORSES By Allison Gregory Rolls At New Jersey Repertory Company

National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, celebrates the final production of the Rolling World Premiere (RWP) of Wild Horses by Allison Gregory at New Jersey Repertory Company. The play has received a total of four distinct NNPN RWP productions, rolling through Member Theaters Contemporary American Theatre Festival (July 7-30, 2017; Shepherdstown, WV), CenterStage Theatre at the JCC (September 3-23, 2017; Rochester, NY), The VORTEX (November 16-December 9, 2017; Austin, TX), and New Jersey Repertory Company (February 22-March 25, 2018; Long Branch). Wild Horses is NNPN's 72nd Rolling World Premiere.

Denver Children's Theatre Presents SLEEPING BEAUTY

Celebrating its 21st Anniversary the Denver Children's Theatre presents the classic fairytale, SLEEPING BEAUTY opening on March 8th and playing through May 4th, running Sundays for families at 1 p.m. and most weekdays starting March 8th at 10 a.m. for school field trips (also open to the public). This live-action, professionally staged theatre production is presented in the Elaine Wolf Theatre at the Mizel Arts and Culture Center (part of the Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center) located at 350 S. Dahlia Street in Denver. The show is recommended for kindergarten age and up.

Laurie Rubin, a blind singer who challenged the norm and beat the odds is performing at The Berman Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, February 22.

Stages Repertory Theatre presents the Houston premiere of Ann, the critically acclaimed one-woman production about iconic, larger-than-life Texas Governor Ann Richards featuring the incomparable Sally Edmundson, a longtime Stages favorite known for her starring roles in productions including Auntie Mame, Full Gallop, Driving Miss Daisy and Steel Magnolias. Written by and originally starring Emmy Award-winning actress Holland Taylor, Ann premiered at The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston in 2010 under the title Money, Marbles and Chalk: An Affectionate Portrait of Ann Richards, and premiered on Broadway in 2013.
