Artistic Director Bonnie Metzgar and Executive Director Jason Held are pleased to announce the world premiere of QUEERTOPIA: The Anti-Violence Project, by Paula Gilovich and the About Face Youth Theatre Ensemble, directed by Sara Kerastas. Piven Theatre Workshop closes its 2009-10 season with the Chicago premiere of Late: A Cowboy Song, written by Sarah Ruhl, directed by Jessica Thebus and featuring Polly Noonan. The production will run July 24 - August 29, 2010 at Piven Theatre Workshop, 927 Noyes Street. Press opening is Monday, July 26, 2010 at 7:30PM.
Eric Rosen, artistic director of Kansas City Repertory Theatre, has added CABARET to the Rep's 2010-11 season lineup. Rosen will direct the Tony Award-winning musical written by two of America's most distinguished and prolific songwriters, Kansas City native John Kander and Fred Ebb, with a book by Joe Masteroff.

Court Theatre proudly announces the company's fifty-sixth annual season, which opens with William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors directed by Sean Graney. The season continues with Samm-Art Williams's Home directed by Resident Artist Ron OJ Parson and Sarah Ruhl's adaptation of Virginia Woolf's Orlando directed by Jessica Thebus.
