The spectacular new stage musical just finished its pre-Broadway engagement at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada on January 2, 2011 prior to beginning performances at Broadway's Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway) on February 28, and opening on March 20. On Sunday November 21st, 2010 some of the cast members of Mirvish's Priscilla Queen of the Desert got together to raise money for Toronto's Casey House at Gladaman's Den. There were special performances as well as an auction, and BWW is pleased to bring you exclusive photos from the event.

J. Elaine Marcos is hosting a Gala Charity Event in Toronto this Sunday, November 21st 2010 with proceeds going to benefit Casey House, the first free standing HIV/AIDS Hospice in Canada. Featuring Nick Adams and other stars of Priscilla Queen of the Desert the event promises to be fun and fabulous, and all for a great cause!

The New York Post is reporting star Bette Midler loved the show so much that she's invested a 'sizable chunk' of money and will be billed as an above the title producer. The paper also reports that she will be hands-on in rehearsals and note sessions as well for the Broadway-bound musical.
