Full Cast And Creative Team Announced For Inaugural Heretic Voices Winning Monologues

Heretic Productions today announces the directors and cast for the inaugural Heretic Voices a new competition which aims to find the best new writing in monologue form. The recently announced winners, chosen by Michael Billington, Lolita Chakrabarti, Monica Dolan and Mel Kenyon, will have their monologues produced by acclaimed directors and actors at the Arcola Theatre.

Julia will slip into the cracks of a marriage on the verge of an invisible crisis, and in the end she will do a lot more than just help Jack.

Additional Events Announced for THE MAIDS at Trafalgar Studios

The Jamie Lloyd Company presents Bertie Carvel, Jonathan Broadbent and Marc Wootton in a reading of Jean Genet's play Splendid's as well as a Genet and David Bowie-inspired evening of drag performances and music in the latest Traf Extras events designed to bring audiences closer to the onstage action. Each event will take place after that evening's performance of The Maids, currently playing at Trafalgar Studios.

Focus Forward Announces Audience Voting, Short Films Now Available For Viewing

GE and CINELAN today announced that viewing and voting for its $200,000 FOCUS FORWARD Filmmaker Competition is open (http://vimeo.com/focusforwardfilms/competition), with 95 semifinalists in the running for Audience Favorite. Five cash prizes, including the Grand Jury Prize of $100,000, will be awarded at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival by a jury that includes Joe Berlinger (Paradise Lost), actress Daryl Hannah (Kill Bill), Barbara Kopple (Harlan County, USA), Sundance Film Festival Senior Programmer Caroline Libresco, José Padilha (Elite Squad), producer Floyd Webb (Daughters of the Dust), and Peter Wintonick (Manufacturing Consent). The finalists for the cash prizes will be announced and featured on the FOCUS FORWARD website (http://focusforwardfilms.com) on Wednesday, November 28.
