2010 was quite a year for Broadway with some spectacular opening nights. We'll be sharing highlights from the year in photos, videos, interviews and more throughout this final week of the year. Broadway stars and Rock stars joined the audience to dance the night away when Rockers on Broadway returned to BB Kings Blues Club last night, November 8th. Directed by Donnie Kehr, ROCKERS ON BROADWAY-Dance Party featured some of the hottest dance tunes from Elvis to GaGa, performed by Broadway stars and the Rock stars who made them famous. The concert benefits Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, Broadway Dreams Foundation, Broadway in South Africa, and The Bendheim Performing Arts Center Scholarship Fund.

The Actors Fund presented Tony Award winner Sutton Foster and Seth Rudetsky in a one-night-only concert performance of THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG, on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College. Theyre_playing_Sour_Song_20010101 Broadway darling Sutton Foster and Seth Rudetsky are teaming up on a concert version of They're Playing Our Song to benefit The Actor's Fund on August 30 at the Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College in New York City. The concert will be directed and choreographed by Denis Jones and musical directed by Steve Freeman. Additional casting details are forthcoming.

As BroadwayWorld has previously reported, Broadway darling Sutton Foster and Seth Rudetsky are teaming up on a concert version of They're Playing Our Song to benefit The Actor's Fund on August 30 at the Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College in New York City. They are joined onstage by Tyler Maynard, Matt Loehr, Jesse Nager, Amber Efe, Alex Ellis and Kaitlyn Davidson. The concert will be directed and choreographed by Denis Jones and musical directed by Steve Freeman.The first shots of the company in rehearsal have been released and appear below!

The full cast has been announced for The Actors Fund benefit, They're Playing Our Song. The one-night event will take place on Monday, August 30th at 7:30pm and will raise money to help support The Actors Fund.

Last night, August 16, The Broadway Boys took the stage at Birdland. Featuring regulars Jesse Nager (Mary Poppins), Michael James Scott (Jersey Boys), Mykal Kilgore (Hair), Danny Calvert (Altar Boyz), Gabe Violett (Spring Awakening), and Zak Resnick (Dogfight), the concert also showcased special guest Natalie Weiss from Wicked.

The Broadway Boys, a collection of the hottest male voices currently working on The New York Stage will release their debut recording, 'Lullaby Of Broadway' on June 8.

The tour of the Broadway musical, which is based on the 1980 cult classic, makes its Rhode Island debut and plays at Providence Performing Arts Center through February 21st.

The Broadway Boys, a gathering of some of the best tenor voices on the Broadway stage are headed into the recording studio on October 1 to record their debut album. Produced by Michael McElroy, the CD is schedule to be available at concerts by late November. PS Classics will release the CD in stores in early winter. BroadwayWorld.com's cameras were there as the 'Boys' laid down their tracks!
