The National Board of Review announced today that Meredith Vieira will return to host the annual National Board of Review Awards Gala, taking place on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. According to EW.com, Broadway favorite Daphne Rubin-Vega has joined SMASH's all-star cast for season two. Rubin-Vega will play a Broadway publicist on the show, which returns on NBC in 2013.
