Rubicon Theatre, a not-for-profit professional regional theatre company in Ventura, California, announces its production of WEST SIDE STORY (Book by ARTHUR LAURENTS, Music by LEONARD BERNSTEIN, Lyrics by STEPHEN SONDHEIM), to be performed by the students of the Education Department's MUSICAL THEATRE INTENSIVE, featuring at twenty-one piece orchestra conducted by DANIEL NEWMAN-LESSLER. This production is directed by BRIAN McDONALD, Musical Direction by MIRIAM ARICHEA and choreography is by CAROLANNE MARANO. Set and lights are designed by David King. Production Manager is Jessie Vacchiano, Stage Manager is Jon Stover.

Surprise! This brand new, non-equity national tour of GUYS AND DOLLS---currently onstage at Orange County's Segerstrom Center for the Arts for a limited week-long run through April 19---is a winning, nicely-nicely done charmer. Of course, it helps a lot that this traveling production comes equipped with Broadway-caliber sets and costumes and, most satisfying of all, a really talented, engaging ensemble cast.

This holiday season, Rubicon Theatre creates fun for the whole family with the Tiny Tots Holiday Concert, Party and Santa Photos. Featuring Rubicon's Merry Elves with special guests Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman, a talented cast of local teens rings in the season with holiday tunes and a sing-a-long for the entire family. Following the performance the fun continues in Santa's Wonderland at Rubicon where photos can be taken with Santa, Frosty, Rudolph and the cast while enjoying hot chocolate and cookies.

Considered one of Shakespeare's most popular history plays, this rousing tale has not been produced on The Shakespeare Theatre stage in 20 years.
