The PlayhouseSquare is set to welcome the bizarre and beloved THE ADDAMS FAMILY national tour from April 10 through the 22. During its run at the Palace Theatre, the cast of the production will be offering a master dance class, teaching locals the moves and routine to the show's opening number. Participants must be advanced level high school or college students, or local professional artists. Ages 14 and up only, please. Others are welcome to observe. Participation is free, however, advance registration is required.

Laura Osnes stars as Suzy in the New York City Center Encores! production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Pipe Dream running through April 1. Pipe Dream is directed by Marc Bruni with music direction by Rob Berman and choreography by Kelli Barclay, and plays for seven performances at New York City Center, West 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues. The Encores! presentation marks the first time the musical will be seen on the New York stage since the original production closed in June 1956.

The first ever, full-length Broadway Las Vegas season at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts features eight of Broadway's biggest hits, beginning with the world-wide phenomenon WICKED. Patina Miller who originated the role of Deloris Van Cartier will play her final performance in SISTER ACT tonight, March 18th. Miller made her Broadway debut in the production and was nominated for a Tony and Oliver award. As previously announced, actress Raven-Symone will replace her, beginning performances on March 27th. SISTER ACT, which will celebrate its one-year Anniversary on Broadway on April 20, is playing at the Broadway Theater.

Carolyn Griffin has announced that MetroStage will be presenting the premiere of a new musical, Josephine Tonight, with book and lyrics by Sherman Yellen, and music by Wally Harper, through Mar. 18, 2012.

The American Theatre Wing (Theodore S. Chapin, Chairman, Board of Trustees; Heather Hitchens, Executive Director) is now accepting applications for the 2012 SpringboardNYC summer program, being held June 5 - 16 in New York City. Limited to 35 participants, SpringboardNYC provides financial aid and multiple scholarship programs to students who qualify.
